Our San Antonio OBGYNs provide convenient, comprehensive obstetrics services

We know that you will be busy during and after your pregnancy, so we try to make your life as convenient as possible by offering several services on-site.

  • Preconception counseling
  • Genetic testing and screening
  • Fetal non-stress testing
  • Lab testing
  • On-site blood draws

From preconception to postpartum care, our team is here to nurture you

If you are considering getting pregnant in the future, our preconception counseling can help you prepare for a healthy pregnancy. We will discuss your medical history, preexisting health conditions and medications. Our obstetricians also educate you about lifestyle choices that benefit you and your baby.

Our prenatal care visits are vital for monitoring how you and your baby are doing throughout the pregnancy. Our physicians order tests as needed and keep an eye on any conditions that may require extra care and monitoring.

Postpartum care is vital for your health in the weeks following your baby’s birth. While you are caring for your baby, we continue to care for you. Our physicians keep tabs on your physical and mental health, including screening for postpartum depression.

If you have a high-risk pregnancy, you will be in good hands at Live Oak OBGYN

At Live Oak OBGYN, women with high-risk pregnancies receive the best obstetrics care from our highly skilled physicians. If you find yourself in any of the following situations, your pregnancy will be considered high-risk.

  • Gestational diabetes
  • Age 35 or older or age 17 or younger
  • Obesity
  • High blood pressure
  • Preexisting health conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney or thyroid disease
  • Carrying twins, triplets or other multiple babies

If you do have a high-risk pregnancy, rest assured that our San Antonio OBGYNs have the training and experience to provide you with the extra care you need. We will schedule additional examinations and monitoring to keep you and your baby as safe as possible during pregnancy and birth.

You are a vital part of the labor and delivery experience

If you have fears, questions or concerns about labor and delivery, our physicians encourage you to ask questions and learn as much as you can about the birthing process. We also urge you to work on a birth plan that lets us know exactly what you want to experience during labor and delivery. We want to provide you with the birth experience you desire for yourself and your baby.

Our obstetricians deliver babies at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital. The hospital offers a wide range of obstetrics services to support low, normal and high-risk deliveries, including a level III NICU.

You and your baby receive the finest care from our San Antonio OBGYNs and our entire team. Contact us for an appointment.
